structure office hours- I seem to be on line- available-returning emails- from 10 Am to 10P I teach high school
It is a good idea to have individual grade levels plan through this process together and in the high schools to have subject areas to plan together. In those instances, coaches, EC Support staff, and other instructional personnel can sit in on those virtual meetings to share resources, tips, and to answer questions.
I don't even know how to get my question on the padlet. So, do you suggest we push out as much as we did in the classroom? Or should it be scaled down?
Having trouble getting students to turn in work? need help...
What do you do about students who hardly did work in class? How do you hold them accountable to these assignments while still be reasonable, considering circumstances?
The State Board will send directions to districts on Friday on how schools should grade.

Our work is only supplemental at this point. It is frustrating in some ways because my 11th graders aren't really going to do something that isn't graded and is only supplemental.

Candyce Rand, I have the same issue. Supplemental and review only. And we can provide 90 minutes of work each week (high school). How can I encourage engagement?
What is your experience with uploaded handwritten instructions? I have been creating packets on my iPad and implementing pictures, etc. Is this a descent practice or have you found it more beneficial to keep everything typed.

I personally enjoy FlipGrid! It allows the kids to interact with their classmates
I love the ideas - however, we are not able to use zoom or meet - no video. Can I use something like this with audio only?
